Prerequisites

  • Manager or Admin access

  • Takeout & Delivery module enabled for Manager

  • POS device connected to the internet

  • POS app updated to the latest version

Steps

New Takeout Order

  1. Log in to the POS and clock in from the Home Screen to begin your shift.

  2. Open the Takeout & Delivery module by selecting Takeout from the navigation menu, where you will see all existing takeout and delivery orders.

  3. Tap New Order to create a new order, and choose whether it will be Takeout (Pickup) or Delivery.

  4. Enter the customer’s name, phone number, and estimated ready or delivery time when prompted.

  5. Tap Take Order to open the menu, add the items, and send the order to the KDS for preparation.

  6. Proceed to the payment screen and complete the New Takeout/Delivery payment.

    Charge the Order:

    • Tap Charge.

    • The invoice screen will appear.

    • The CFD will display the order total to the customer.

      Select Payment Method

      Available options:

      • Cash - The customer pays the full bill amount using physical currency.

      • Card - The bill is paid using a debit or credit card through the payment terminal.

      • Check - The customer settles the bill by providing a check as payment.

      • Gift Card - Payment is made using a prepaid gift card balance.

      • Service Charge - The amount is charged to a predefined service account.

      • You can also print or send a digital receipt to the customer.

      After Payment

    • The order screen will update with options like:

      • Void Invoice

      • Edit Invoice

Fast-Service (Quick Takeout) Option

  1. Tap Quick Order if you need to create an order quickly without entering customer details.

  2. Once the menu opens immediately, add the items required for the order.

  3. Send the items to the KDS to complete the quick takeout process.

  4. Proceed to the payment screen and complete the Quick Takeout payment.

Troubleshooting

  • If the order does not appear, refresh the Takeout screen or ensure the POS has an active internet connection.

  • If the KDS is not receiving items, verify that the KDS device is powered on, connected, and properly linked to your account.

  • If customer details are required, avoid using Quick Order since it does not collect customer information.
