Who this is for: studio operators (admin panel) · Plan: all plans · Product: Podyx V2

⚙️ How roles work

Each teammate is given a role, and the role decides which areas of the admin panel they can open and what they can change. Someone managing the calendar does not need access to financial settings, and roles make that separation clean and safe.

👥 A typical split

  • Owner or Admin: full access, including settings, payments, and team.

  • Manager: day-to-day operations, including catalog, calendar, bookings, and clients.

  • Staff or Front desk: bookings and clients, without sensitive settings or financials.

(Exact roles and how finely you can tune them depend on your plan.)

🧠 Why it matters

Least-access-needed protects sensitive data, reduces accidental changes, and makes the audit log meaningful. As your team grows, roles keep "who can touch what" under control instead of relying on trust alone, which is what lets you hire and delegate with confidence.

✅ Summary

Assign the lightest role that lets someone do their job, keep settings and money behind Admin, and pair roles with the audit log for full accountability.
