Who this is for: studio operators (admin panel) · Plan: mixed, see each tab · Product: Podyx V2
Studio Settings is where your studio gets its rules, its look and its paperwork. There are thirteen tabs and you do not need all of them on day one. This page is the map: what each tab is for, where to read more, and where to jump to in the walkthrough video.

Invoicing (Premium) | Company details, numbering, custom billing fields |
⚠️ Set your currency in Payment → Tax and currency before you price anything, and get your invoice numbering right before you issue your first invoice. Both are painful to change later.
💡 Two settings in Tax and currency that often get confused: "Prices are entered" decides what the numbers in your catalog mean and changes what clients pay. "Tax display" only changes how prices look on your booking site.
🧭 Things that are not in Studio Settings
A few settings people look for here live in the main Admin Panel menu instead:
Roles — near the bottom of the main menu. Studio Settings → Team is where you invite people and assign them a role; Roles is where you build and edit the roles themselves.
Pricing Rules — your dynamic pricing rules.
Blocked Slots, Availability, Bundle Plans, Subscription Plans and Promo Codes are all main-menu items too.
🛡 Security
This tab controls how much of your CMS the Podyx support team can see. You choose one of three levels:
Full access — support can inspect your CMS to fix a bug or resolve an issue.
Read-only access — support can look but not change anything.
No access — support cannot see your CMS at all.
💡 Turn full access on when you have raised a problem and need it investigated, then turn it back down. It is your data, and the narrower setting is the safer default.
📜 Terms & Conditions, and Policy
This tab holds two independent documents, each with a title, rich-text content and its own agreement setting:
Terms & Conditions — your booking contract.
Policy — a second document for whatever sits alongside your terms. The field prompts Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy or Refund Policy.
Each carries a Require customers to agree at checkout tick, and both are on by default, so checkout is unchanged until you turn one off.
💡 Unticking does not hide the document. The page stays published and readable — it just drops the tick box from the booking flow. That is how you publish a cancellation policy clients can read without adding another checkbox to checkout.
Leaving a document's fields empty removes it entirely, rather than leaving an empty checkbox pointing at a blank page.
⚠️ Treat what you write here as your contract with the client, because that is exactly what it is. Check both display correctly before you go live.
📣 Marketing
Everything here shapes how your studio looks outside Podyx:
Website title and description — what shows in the browser tab and in search results.
Share image — the preview picture when someone posts your link.
Google Tag ID — for tracking and analytics.
Social links — these appear in your page footer. A link that is not a real web address is now refused on save rather than accepted and quietly broken.
Verify every link and tracking value before launch. A wrong tag ID means you collect nothing and will not notice for weeks.
✅ A sensible setup order
The menu order is not the order you should work in. If you are starting from scratch, go through it like this:
General — your studio identity, including the language your emails will send in.
Payment — set your currency in the Tax and currency section first, before anything has a price, then connect your processor and complete its onboarding.
Booking — durations, increments, buffers and cut-offs.
Notifications — the emails clients receive.
Appearance and Landing Page — how it all looks.
Terms & Conditions — your terms and your policy, before you take money.
Those six get you live. Team, Security, Custom domain, Marketing, Integrations and Invoicing can follow once bookings are coming in.
