How the invite arrives
When a design studio wants to work with you on a project, you'll usually hear about it by email first, sent from Programa on the studio's behalf. There are two versions:
A general project invite: sent when a studio wants to give you visibility into a project before requesting anything specific. It includes a short note from the designer, a project photo and description, and a View project button.
A quote request invite: sent when the studio already has specific products in mind. This version lists the requested products and an estimated quote value, and leads with a Start quoting button.
Both emails link out to the project without requiring you to create a Programa account first, you can look, and even quote, before you sign up.
If you already have a Programa account, the same request also appears as an action item on your Home page and inside the relevant project's Overview tab, so you don't need to wait for the email to act on it.
Accepting the invite
Clicking through from either email takes you to a project landing page. Which screen you land on depends on which button you clicked:
View project (general invite)
Takes you to the project's Overview page. If no products were requested yet, take a look around. The project details, studio info and any files already shared, before anything's asked of you.
Start quoting (quote request invite)
Takes you straight to the Add your quote screen - the requested products, quantities and pricing fields are already there, ready to fill in.
What you'll see once you're in
Either way, you're now inside the project, on the project Overview if you came via View project, or straight into pricing if you came via Start quoting. From here, the project is laid out the same way every time you come back to it, covered next in Navigating your projects.
