We've launched a redesigned supplier experience on Programa that brings you directly into designers' projects. The core Programa experience is now free for suppliers: you don't need a subscription to work with designers, respond to quote requests or take part in live projects. Your existing account remains active, so there's nothing you need to do.
The Trade Portal was retired on 4 September 2026, Leads was replaced by project invitations, Quote Requests now work as a collaborative quoting workflow, and a new Insights dashboard shows how your brand is performing. This page answers the most common questions about what's changed.
What's changed
What’s happening to Leads and Quote Requests?
Leads was replaced by project invitations, and Quote Requests now work as a collaborative quoting workflow. Designers bring you directly into their projects, where you can respond to quote requests, manage opportunities, track project and quote status, and stay connected from specification through to ordering. For a tour of how it works, see Navigating your projects.
Why are you making this change?
Seeing that a product was specified provided visibility, but not always the context needed to take action. The list was static, carried no message or intent, and gave little indication of whether a designer was ready to engage. Designers also increasingly asked us to limit passive visibility. The new model gives you a genuine role when a designer is ready to collaborate.
Will this actually get me more business?
The aim is to create more meaningful opportunities, with designers engaging directly when they’re ready to collaborate, alongside Insights to help you understand where your brand is gaining traction.
Free for suppliers
Is Programa free for suppliers now?
The core Programa experience is free for suppliers. You don't need a subscription to work with designers, respond to quote requests or take part in live projects.
What's included?
Your Company Profile: see Settings: Company Profile – completing and publishing your profile.
Your sales team and key contacts: see Settings: Team – adding and managing team members.
Your Product Library, where you upload, organise and update your products: see Add your products to Programa.
Your Dashboard and Insights: see Insights: How to read your dashboard.
Quote requests, which you can receive and respond to: see Responding to a quote request.
Live projects, where you collaborate with designers and manage opportunities: see Navigating your projects.
Order tracking, from confirmation through to delivery: see Receiving a purchase order.
Do I need a subscription?
Not to use the core experience listed above. Your existing account remains active.
What is the paid discovery offering?
We're developing a separate paid discovery offering, designed to give your brand additional ways to be found by designers on Programa. It's separate from the core experience above, and we'll share more as it develops.
Projects, quotes and orders
How will I hear about new opportunities now?
Designers bring you into a project when they're ready to collaborate, and you manage it from there. To get started, see Accepting a project invite. If you don't have a Programa account yet, see Guest access and creating an account.
How do I respond to a quote request?
Quote requests appear in your Overview tab. Responding to a quote request walks you through what to do when one arrives.
What happens after I respond to a quote?
See What happens after I respond to a quote? for what happens once you've sent your quote.
What happens when a studio places an order?
See Receiving a purchase order for what happens once the studio places an order against your accepted quote.
Can I still reach out to studios directly, or only when a designer invites me?
Collaboration is designer-led. When a designer is ready to engage, they invite you into the project to collaborate through the quoting workflow.
Will I get fewer opportunities under a designer-initiated model?
Not necessarily. The way opportunities appear is changing. Instead of a list of specifications to follow up on, you receive direct collaboration opportunities from designers, alongside insights into how your products are being engaged with across Programa.
What if a designer isn't ready to quote? Won't I miss early opportunities?
Early specification activity doesn't always mean a project is ready for supplier involvement. Insights shows where engagement is happening, and you're brought in when a designer is ready to collaborate.
Insights
What does the Insights dashboard show?
How your brand is performing on Programa: total specified value, how products move from specified to approved, your most-specified products, and how many studios and projects are engaging with you. To learn how to read it, see Insights: How to read your dashboard.
Will I still see which studios and projects are specifying my products?
You see named studio and project detail for any designer who invites you into a project; elsewhere your performance is shown anonymously. Named visibility follows genuine engagement.
Your products and the Trade Portal
What's happening to the Trade Portal?
It was retired on 4 September 2026. Designers increasingly research products on brand websites and bring them into Programa using Web Clipper and URL Paste rather than browsing a separate portal. Your Product Library continues to support the supplier experience by helping you prepare quotes faster when designers invite you into projects.
What happens to the products I've already uploaded?
Your products carry across into the new supplier experience, and your Product Library powers the collaborative quoting workflow, making it faster to prepare and send quotes when designers invite you into a project.
We've simplified the product structure to a per-SKU basis rather than the previous base-product-with-variants structure, so each variant is its own product record.
Can I add more products?
Yes. You can add products manually, from a URL, or from a spreadsheet, including images. See Add your products to Programa to choose the method that suits you.
How will designers find my products now?
Designers continue to discover your products through your own website and add them to their schedules in Programa using Web Clipper and URL Paste.
Your brand also appears in the Brand Directory within the designer workflow.
Historical data
Will I lose my historical leads data?
No - on 17 August 2026 we sent you a complete export of your last 12 months of leads data, for your own records.
What’s in the export?
We sent your .csv export on 17 August 2026, covering your last 12 months of leads data. It includes the same details you saw in your Leads view: studio, studio location, product, quantity, project, project location, date, and studio status. Email addresses and contact details aren't part of the export, as these were never shown in the Leads view.
Will I still be able to access historical leads in-platform?
No. Your 17 August 2026 export is your record of that data.
Help and support
Do my team, settings and uploaded products carry across?
Yes. You can manage them at any time: see Settings: Team – adding and managing team members and Settings: Company Profile – completing and publishing your profile.
Where can I find step-by-step help?
Our help guides cover each part of the new experience. If a designer has invited you to a project, start with Accepting a project invite. To build up your Product Library, start with Add your products to Programa.
Who can I contact if I have questions?
Message us through in-app chat, and our team will help.
