PULPO WMS enables you to exclude certain positions from picking tasks, either to completely block the stock stored there or because the positions are inaccessible to pickers.
Enabling the setting
To set up the exclusion of the positions from the picking tasks, enable the setting in the Settings -> Outgoing -> Orders & Picking tab and activate the checkbox for the Exclude stocks on certain positions from picking setting.
Upon activation, the following positions can be excluded from pickings:
Setting functionality
Once the positions are selected in Settings, the app will exclude them from the calculation of the picking route.
This setting applies at the warehouse level and can be configured differently for each warehouse in your system.
Picking from volume positions with a special route
PULPO WMS allows you to select a special picking route for your order based on the Zone or position tags or volume position type.
If the setting is configured to disallow volume position stocks, but an order is assigned to a special route that picks exclusively from volume positions, the stocks in those positions will still be considered and can be picked.
The picklist can be created even if the stock is stored in volume positions only.
