Rent Butter handles different types of questions through different channels. Here's how to reach the right place.

Questions about your application status or decision

Contact the property manager who invited you. They make all decisions on rental applications and have the full context. Their contact info is usually on their website or in your original invitation.

Disputes about screening data

If you think there's an error in your screening report (a wrong record, an outdated balance, etc.), tap Contact Us on the decline screen if you have one, or email disputes@rentbutter.com.

Requests for a copy of your screening report

Email help@rentbutter.com with your full name, the property you applied to, and your application confirmation code if you have it.

Privacy or data deletion questions

Technical issues with the application

If something on the application isn't working, first try refreshing or switching browsers. If the issue persists, contact your property manager and share what's happening — they can flag it to Rent Butter on your behalf.
