Brand Bundle resource: QR codes and print profiles (App Setup)

Learn what internal and external Brand Bundle QR codes do and how to choose a print profile that matches your practice aesthetic.

Overview

Your RepeatMD Brand Bundle combines printed materials with QR codes that drive app sign-ups and in-office check-ins. Each bundle also uses a print profile, a pre-designed visual style applied to your materials. This article explains QR code types, lists available print profiles, and links to setup guidance.

This reference is for practice owners, managers, and onboarding leads selecting a brand bundle or training staff on printed materials.

Before You Start

Why It Matters

Understanding QR codes and print profiles helps you:

  • Use materials correctly so internal check-in codes stay on-site and external codes reach new patients.

  • Choose a visual style that matches your practice before materials go to print.

  • Train staff confidently on what each sign, card, and poster does.

  • Avoid reorder mistakes by knowing which profile and QR type you used at launch.

How It Works

Reception, checkout, treatment rooms, on-site A-frames and counter signs

Social media, email blasts, external ads

External QR code

Events, take-home bags, rack cards in waiting areas, outreach marketing

Substituting for internal check-in flows on-site

Internal QR materials include A-frame foam boards, 11x14 posters, and 10x8 counter signs.

External QR materials include Affirm rack cards, giveaway rack cards, and sticker packs.

These printed materials feature an internal QR code for in-practice check-ins and sign-ups only. It must remain on-site and should not be shared externally.

These printed materials feature an external QR code for sign-ups outside the practice. It is meant for sharing through marketing materials, social media, and other outreach efforts.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Choose a print profile during onboarding

  1. Open your Brand Bundle Form from your onboarding email.

  2. Review visual samples in this article and the Sample Prints PDF.

  3. Select the profile family and A/B variant that best fits your practice.

  4. Submit the form. RepeatMD’s design team applies your profile to bundle materials.

Identify QR codes on delivered materials

  1. Unpack your Brand Bundle shipment.

  2. Separate materials into internal (on-site check-in) and external (outreach) piles using the table above.

  3. Brief your front-desk team on which QR codes to use at check-in vs. which cards patients can take home.

Best Practices and Pro Tips

  • Never post internal QR codes externally. They are designed for on-site check-in flows only.

  • Match profile to brand. If your website is soft and clinical, an Aesthetic or Rejuvenation profile usually fits better than Mens or Community.

  • Keep a profile record. Note which profile you selected so reorders stay visually consistent.

  • Use external rack cards for outreach. Hand them out at events and in take-home bags to reach patients who have not visited yet.

  • Reorder the same profile when you request replacements. See Reorder printed materials (Admin Panel).

Common Mistakes and FAQs

Q: What is the difference between internal and external QR codes?

A: Internal codes are for in-practice check-ins and must stay on-site. External codes are for sign-ups outside the practice and can be shared in marketing.

A: Compare both variants in the Sample Prints PDF against your existing brand colors and photography style. Choose the variant that needs the fewest compromises.

Q: Can I change my print profile after materials are printed?

A: Contact support@repeatmd.com or your CEM. Profile changes on reorders are supported; already-printed materials would need a reorder.

Q: Where do I learn where to place each item?

Q: Do QR codes expire?

A: QR codes link to your practice’s app sign-up and check-in flows. Contact support@repeatmd.com if a code stops working.
