Overview

This article explains how to create treatment variations in your Admin Panel. It’s designed for practice owners, managers, and admins who want to offer multiple options: such as tiers, sizes, or treatment areas, under a single treatment to make shopping easier for patients.

Before You Start

  • You must have Admin access with the appropriate permissions to manage treatments.

  • A unit type must be selected before adding treatment variations.

  • Treatment variations are optional but recommended for services with multiple options or pricing tiers.

  • Variations apply to all locations where the treatment is available.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Add variations while creating a treatment

  1. Log in to your Admin Panel.

  2. Go to App Builder in the left navigation.

  3. Select Treatments.

  4. Create a new treatment or open an existing one.

  5. Select the appropriate Unit Type. (unit, syringe, treatment, session, etc.)

  6. Click + Add Treatment Variation.

  7. Enter the Variation Name.

  8. (Optional) Add a Variation Description to help patients understand the difference.

  9. Click Save Treatment Variations in the bottom right.

You can repeat these steps to add multiple variations to the same treatment.

How It Works

  • Treatment variations allow you to group multiple options under one treatment listing in the app.

  • Each variation can represent differences such as tier level, treatment area, size, or intensity.

  • Variations help reduce clutter in the shop and make it easier for patients to compare options.

  • Variations can have unique pricing and can be paired with bundled pricing if desired.

  • Updates appear in the patient app immediately after saving.

Yes. All variations use the unit type selected for the master treatment.

Can I add or edit variations later?

Yes. You can add, edit, or remove variations at any time by editing the treatment.

Do variations affect existing purchases?

No. Changes only apply to future purchases.

Can variations have bundled pricing?
