Activating the FedEx integration in Returbo requires several steps, including FedEx’s mandatory two-step authentication process.
Follow this guide carefully to complete the setup.
1️⃣ Enter Your FedEx Account Number
To begin activation, you must enter your FedEx account number.
🔍 How to Find Your Account Number
You can locate your account number in two ways:
Option 1: On Your Invoice
Look at the top right-hand corner of your FedEx invoice
The account number is a nine-digit number
You can also access invoices through FedEx® Billing Online
Option 2: In Your Online FedEx Account
Log in at fedex.com
Open the dropdown menu and select My Profile
Click Account Management
Your account number will be displayed there
👉 If you still can’t find it, go to Create shipment and select Contact administrator. They will help you retrieve it.
You then need to choose the address associated with you FedEx account
2️⃣ Select the Account Address
You must choose the address associated with your FedEx account.

Log in at fedex.com
Select My Profile
Click Account Management
Review the registered shipping address
👉 If you don't see the information, or if you are trying to find a different account address, you may need to use FedEx Admin Tools or contact FedEx Customer Support
🔍 How to Add a New Account Address in Returbo
If the correct address is not already added in Returbo:
Go to Settings → Request Settings → General
Scroll to Return and restock locations
Click Add location
Enter the address
Click Add location
You can now return to:
Settings → Integrations → FedEx
And select the correct address.
3️⃣ Choose Your FedEx Service
Select the FedEx service you want to use within Returbo.
4️⃣ Apply Country Rules (Optional)
If needed, define country-specific rules.
This determines which countries FedEx should be used for.
5️⃣ Activate the Carrier
Click Activate carrier.
The integration status will now change to:
Authentication required
You must now reopen the integration.
A pop-up window will appear asking for:
Your FedEx account number (again)
The associated account address
You will also need to review the FedEx End User License Agreement (EULA).
Once reviewed:
6️⃣ Complete FedEx Two-Step Verification
FedEx requires account verification through one of the following methods:
SMS
A PIN code is sent to the registered phone number
You can retry the code 3 times
After 3 failed attempts, you must wait 30 minutes before trying again
A PIN code is sent to the registered email address
Phone Call
A FedEx representative calls the registered phone number
They provide the PIN code verbally
Invoice Verification
You must provide:
Invoice number
Invoice amount
Invoice date
Currency
👉 For all methods except invoice verification, you must enter the PIN to proceed.
