This guide shows how to activate or connect your DHL Freight account in Returbo.
If you do not have an agreement with DHL Freight, Returbo can also provide shipping agreements.

Before you start
To activate DHL Freight, you need:
Account number
Phone number
👉 Make sure you have access to your DHL Freight account
Step 1: Go to carrier settings
Go to Settings
Click Integrations
Open the Shipping tab
Step 2: Activate DHL Freight
Select DHL Freight Sweden
Click Start
Enter:
Account number
Phone number
Step 3: Select available services
After activation, you need to choose which services to use.
The most commonly used services are:
DHL Freight Service Point Return
DHL Freight Parcel Return Connect
👉 Make sure you select the services available in your DHL account
‼️Important: Product weights are required
For DHL Freight, it is important that all your products have a weight defined inside Shopify.
👉 If product weights are missing, Returbo will not be able to generate return shipping slips.
DHL Freight requires weight information to create shipping labels and is more sensitive to missing data than some other carriers.
Where to find your credentials
Account number
Go to My DHL Freight
Log in to your account
Open your profile (top right corner)
4. Scroll down to Account number / Kundnummer

Phone number
Use the phone number of the person who should be contacted when the shipment arrives.
👉 This does not need to be the same as your DHL account phone number
Important setup notes
Make sure your DHL account has return services enabled
If no services are available, contact DHL Freight support
Incorrect credentials will prevent activation
