Review Settings

Learn how to automate and customize your practice’s review requests using the SKED Reviews feature to encourage positive feedback and manage patient experiences.

📝 Overview

The SKED Reviews feature automates the process of requesting reviews from your practice members. You can customize when and how these requests are sent, what your messages say, and where your patients are directed to leave feedback — ensuring a smooth and consistent review process for your office.

💬 Using the SKED Reviews Feature

The SKED Reviews feature allows you to have an automated review request sent to your practice members.

To get started, decide when you’d like a practice member to receive a review request for the first time.

For example, if all of your appointment codes are listed in the Selected Appointment Types column, SKED will send a review request to a practice member after the next appointment they come in for — whichever one comes first.

If you don’t want SKED to send a review request after a certain appointment, simply move the code out of the Selected Appointment Types column.

SKED will only send one review request per patient until you choose to resend it.

🌐 Setting Up Review Links and Branding

Next, decide if you want SKED to direct patients to your Google Reviews page or a different reviews page, such as Facebook, and insert the appropriate link.

Upload your office logo by clicking the Choose File button.

✏️ Customizing Review Messages

You can customize what the review message says, including the email subject header and the sentence beneath the header.
Add emojis to the text by clicking the smiley face icon for a more engaging message.

  • Custom SMS Text: The text message patients will receive asking them to leave a review. This message includes the review link (52 characters).

  • Custom Main Page: The page where patients are directed after clicking the review link in the text or the Rate Now button in the email.

👍👎 Handling Positive and Negative Responses

  • If a patient taps Yes, they’ll be redirected to your Google or other reviews page to leave their public review.

  • If a patient taps No, they’ll be redirected to your No Response Page, indicating a poor experience.

The Negative Response Page will display a header and a secondary sentence, allowing patients to leave feedback. Afterward, they’ll be taken to your Custom End Page, which includes another header and sentence.

🗒️ Note: Negative feedback will appear on your reviews page in SKED for internal viewing and will not post to Google or other public platforms.

⏱️ Configuring Review Timing

Next, choose when you’d like SKED to automatically send your review request:

  • Minutes to Wait: How long SKED waits to send the review request after the client’s appointment is marked as “Arrived.”

  • Days to Resend: How long SKED waits before sending another review request (only if the patient returns for another appointment).

When finished, check Enabled and click Save.

💡 Example Scenario

When a patient comes in for their new patient appointment, SKED will send a review request 60 minutes after the appointment is marked as arrived.

After 90 days, if the patient has another appointment, SKED will send another review request.

At this point, the patient would have received two review requests total.

Key Takeaways

  • Automate review requests to save time and encourage consistent feedback.

  • Customize your review messages, logos, and redirect pages for a branded experience.

  • Separate positive and negative feedback to manage public perception effectively.

  • Control timing and resend intervals to avoid over-messaging patients.

  • All negative feedback remains internal within SKED.
