What is an Offline Report?

Written by Javier Diaz

An offline report is an email that identifies members whose smart AC hubs are currently offline or not responding to the network. This report helps you quickly identify connectivity issues and provides specific recommended actions for each affected device.

How Offline Reports Work

When smart AC hubs lose their connection to the network, our system automatically detects these offline devices and compiles them into a comprehensive email report. This report is sent directly to your inbox to ensure you stay informed about the status of all connected devices in your network.

What's Included in an Offline Report

Each offline report contains a detailed table with the following information for each affected member:

  • UID (Unique Identifier): The specific device ID for the offline hub (e.g., SMARTACHUB1E2X000110)

  • Member Name: The account holder's name

  • Email Address: Contact email for the member

  • Phone Number: Contact phone number for the member

  • Status: Current device status (typically shows "Hub Offline")

  • Recommended Action: Specific troubleshooting step to resolve the issue (such as "Reconnect Hub")

Using Offline Reports Effectively

The recommended actions included in each report are designed to help you provide consistent, effective support when contacting members about their offline smart AC hubs. These standardized recommendations (such as "Reconnect Hub") ensure that common connectivity issues can be resolved quickly and efficiently.

The report provides all necessary contact information, allowing you to reach out to affected members via email or phone to guide them through the troubleshooting process.
