How to change and update customer contact details

Should you need to update any of the customer's details, including name, billing address and email address, you can do this within Stora and Stripe.


1) Stora

Go to the customer profile in Stora and select Edit Contact. Once the details have been updated, save the changes at the bottom of the page.

Note that changes made in Stora, such as using the 'Edit Contact' option, will only affect internal records and not the names displayed on invoices.


2) Stripe

Then go to the Customer's Stripe profile. (You can use the View on Stripe button as per the above screenshot.)

Stripe allows you to update customer details specifically for invoice display purposes, such as changing the customer name to a company name.

Click on 'Edit' next to the section titled 'Details'. A pop-up window will appear where you can update details such as your name, billing address, and email address. Click on 'update customer' to finish.

Be aware that only newly generated invoices will reflect these updated details; existing invoices remain unchanged.
