Update an existing card paying subscription

You can add debit or credit cards for your customers directly in Stora. Just visit their customer profile in Stora and use the + Add a Card button. Once added, the card is stored for potential use but does not replace the existing subscription payment method until manually updated.

  1. Locate the subscription: Open the subscription in your Stora account that you wish to modify.

  2. Edit the payment method: Click on the pencil icon next to the payment method displayed.

  3. Select the new card: Choose the desired card from the list of saved cards.

  4. Save changes: Click the update button to confirm the new card as the payment method for the subscription.

You'll then need to visit any subscriptions they have set up, select the relevant customer ID, and select the new card as the subscription payment method.


Add a card to a manual-type subscription

Subscriptions set up as manual payment methods, such as Bank Transfer, Cash, or other, can be switched to card-paying subscriptions.

Navigate to the customer account in Stora and use the Add Payment Card option to add a card. Enter the card details and confirm. After adding the card, navigate to the subscription and manually set the new card as the payment method using the subscription options.

Once the card is added, click into the customer's subscription and use the Add Payment Card option on the subscription to select the card that has been entered. This will ensure future payments use that card for automatic payment.
