Stora can build your facility site map for you for a one‑off fee. Use this service if you want a professional‑looking map without spending time creating it yourself. This article explains how the service works, what we need from you, and what is included in the price.
What you can do with a Stora Site Map build
With a Site Map built by the Stora team, you can:
Get a professionally designed Site Map based on your site layout and units in Stora.
Save time setting up the visual layout yourself.
Review the first version and request changes so it matches how your site really works.
Take full control of future updates once the map is handed over.
💡 A built Site Map is a one‑off setup service. After it is complete, you can edit it yourself at any time in Stora.
Price and limits
The Site Map build service is charged per site.
Price per Site Map: £149 / €149 / $149.
The price covers up to 350 units for a single Site Map.
💡 If your site has more than 350 units, contact Support to discuss options before you request a build.
How to request a Site Map build
To request a Site Map build from the Stora team:
Complete the request form. Open the Site Map build form and answer the questions about your site and layout. Include any notes that will help us understand how your site is organised.
Upload site layout images. Add clear images or drawings that show your site layout, including building names, floors, corridors and unit positions where possible.
Create all units in Stora. Make sure all units for the site already exist in your Stora account. The Site Map is built using your existing units.
Submit your request. Check your details and submit the form so the Stora team can review it.
Confirm payment. When your request has been reviewed, the Stora team will confirm the details and ask you to pay the Site Map build fee.
Once you have paid, the Stora team will begin building your Site Map using the information and images you provided.
⚠️ Make sure your unit list in Stora is complete and up to date before you confirm payment. Changes to units after the map is built may require you to edit the map yourself.
What happens after you request the build
When your request is in progress, the Stora team will:
Review your form and layout images and contact you if anything is unclear.
Build the first version of your Site Map based on your units and site layout.
Share the draft map with you for review.
You will then have the chance to:
Check that units are correctly placed and labelled.
Request tweaks to the map.
Once you confirm that the map looks right, the Site Map is considered complete and handed over to you in Stora.
💡 You can edit your Site Map at any time in the Backoffice, for example if you add new units, change unit numbers or reconfigure part of your site.
