Buyer Requesting a Valuation via the Consumer App
Within the Street Consumer App, a buyer can request a valuation on their property, giving you an opportunity to win an additional instruction all from a viewing!
The option for a buyer to book a valuation appears in several locations on the consumer app and will show as a banner asking if they 'have a property to sell?' and that they can 'book a free valuation'. Within the banner will be a button to 'book now' that will be branded in your company brand.
Overview Tab
When a buyer logs in, they will see the banner at the top of the page on the overview tab, with the 'Book now' button to book a valuation.
Note - This banner will only show on the overview tab if the buyer only has an account with one agency that uses Street. If the buyer is linked with multiple agencies, this banner will be removed to prevent bias towards a particular agency.
Property Details Page
If a buyer has a viewing booked, they can select the property to view the details and will see the banner with the 'book now' button above the property description.
Viewing Page
If a buyer has a viewing booked, they can go the viewings tab and select that viewing and will see the 'book now' button to book a valuation, as well as the details of the viewing. For more information on buyers managing their viewings, see here.
Viewing Feedback Page
If the buyer has submitted feedback for a viewing, they can view this from the viewing page and again will see a 'book now' button on the 'your feedback' page.
Buyer Booking a Valuation Workflow
When a buyer clicks the 'book now' button on any page within the consumer app they will have the option to book a valuation. Depending on the setup of your account in Street, the buyer will see a sales, lettings or sales and lettings valuation option and be asked to enter their address.
If the address falls within your a branch patch and you have online valuation bookings enabled, the buyer will have the option of selecting a date and time, based on your team's availability and the valuation will be booked directly into the diary of an available valuer.
If the buyer is unable to book (due to being outside of your patch, online valuations disabled etc), the buyer will receive a message saying their request has been received and you will be in touch.
Whether the valuation is booked or requested, you will receive a notification in Street as well as an enquiry into your Enquiry Centre where you can manage the valuation request/booking as needed.
