Users can access margin details in HVAC proposals once the admin enables the setting. Margin information is displayed alongside other financial details, allowing users to review and adjust values directly within the proposal without switching views. Follow the steps below to view and edit the margin in the proposal.

A web browser (Chrome or Edge recommended)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Go to "Customers" from the main menu.

Step 2

Select the preferred customer from the list.

Step 3

Click "View Detail".

Step 4

Go to the "Financing" section.

Step 5

Scroll down to find "Financing" and click the "Edit" icon to update the proposal margin.

Step 6

Once the dialogue box opens, select the margin type (flat or percentage) and enter the margin amount. Click "Save" to finish.

Step 7

The margin will show up once saved. It will apply to the entire amount of the proposal subtotal.
