For generic proposals, margin details can be viewed and adjusted once the setting is enabled by the admin. This setup keeps all financial information in one place, making it easier to manage proposal data without navigating away. Follow the steps below to view and edit the margin in the proposal.

Go to "Customers" from the main menu.

Select the preferred customer from the list.
Step 3
Click "View Detail".
Step 4
Go to the "Financing" section.
Step 5
Scroll down to find "Financing" and click the "Edit" icon to update the proposal margin.
Step 6
Once the dialogue box opens, select the margin type (flat or percentage) and enter the margin amount. Click "Save" to finish.
Step 7
The margin will show up once saved. It will apply to the entire amount of the proposal subtotal.
