How to Create a New Proposal for Water Purification Job Type?

The new Water Purification proposal flow makes it easier to create proposals using pre-built water purification products, adders, packages, and preferences. Once these are set up, your team can quickly select the right options for a customer instead of adding everything manually for every proposal.

Before creating a proposal, make sure you have:

Step 1: Click “Settings” on the main menu.

Step 2: Locate “Proposal Settings”.

Step 3: Click the “Edit” icon.

Step 4: Turn the “Enable Water Purification New Proposal Flow” toggle on.

Step 5: Scroll back up and click “Update” to save the changes.

Step 1: Click “Manage Database” and select “Database” from the drop down.

Step 2: Click “Water Purification”. From the dropdown, you can select “Adders” or “Water Purification” depending on what you want to add.

Step 3: Inside Adders, you can choose the adders from a master database or add a new one. Click “Add” to add a new adder.

Step 4: Similarly, you can add water purification from a master list or add it manually.

Step 5: To add manually, click “Add”.

Step 6: Fill up the name and manufacturer of the water purification adder and click “Create Request”.

Step 1: From the main menu, go to “Manage Database” and click “Database” in the dropdown.

Step 2: Click “Water Purification” and select “Package” from the dropdown.

Step 3: Click “Add”.

Step 4: The water purification and adders you added in the database will be available here. Provide a Name of the package and select adders and water purification adders from the dropdown. Click “Add”.

Step 5: Once created, you can edit the enabled status, click to view, or delete the package.

Step 1: From the main menu, click “Manage Database” and select “Database” from the dropdown.

Step 2: Click “Water Purification” and select “Packages” from the dropdown.

Step 3: Click “Add”.

Step 4: Provide a name for the preference. Click “Save”.

Step 1: From the main menu, go to “Customers”.

Step 2: Click “New Customer”.

Step 3: Add all the details like first name, last name, phone number, email address, and address. Click “Next”.

Step 4: Select the job type from the list. In this case, we will select “water purification”. Click “Continue”.

Step 5: Confirm the address and click “Next”.

Step 6: Select the installer and click “Next”.

Step 7: On the next page, click “Look Up Water Report”. This will fetch the eater report of your area according to the given address.

Step 8: Once the water reports load, click the preferred one for your area. Click “Next”.

Step 9: On the next step, you can rate the preferences. Click “Next”.

Step 10: Select your preferred package from the list and click “Finish”.

Step 11: The proposal will be created with all the details provided.

A water purification company wants to create a proposal for a new customer.

The team first adds its available water purification products and adders to the database. They then create a package that includes the products and adders the customer may need and set up a preference.

When creating the proposal, the salesperson enters the customer's information, selects Water Purification as the job type, confirms the address, and looks up the water report. They can then select the appropriate package and finish the proposal without manually adding each product and adder.

Set up your water purification products, adders, packages, and preferences before your sales team starts creating proposals. This keeps the proposal process faster and makes it easier for everyone to use the same products and pricing.

Also, review the package before sending the proposal. The Edit button lets you view the products and adders included in the package and adjust the unit price and quantity of adders when needed.

The new proposal flow is not showing:

Check Settings → Proposal Settings and make sure Enable Water Purification New Proposal Flow is turned on. Click Update after enabling it.

I cannot find a product or adder when creating a package:

Make sure the water purification product or adder has first been added to the Water Purification section of the database.

I cannot create a package:

Check that you have provided a package name and selected the required water purification products and adders.

The water report is not loading:

Check that the customer's address is correct and confirmed before clicking Look Up Water Report.

The expected package is not available during proposal creation:

Make sure the package has been created and is enabled in the Package section.
