The new Generator proposal flow guides your reps step by step, from job type and address to ready-made packages and adders. Reps build generator proposals faster, offer homeowners clear options, and can still fine-tune everything from the Proposal Details page.

Step 1: Click “New Proposal” and select the “Generator” job type.

Step 2: Enter the customer’s “Address” and continue.

Step 3: Select the “Installer” and continue.

Step 4: On the “Package” step, pick a package (up to 3 are shown).

Step 5: On the “Adders” step, add any extras the job needs.

Step 6: Finish the wizard. The proposal opens on the “Pricing” tab, where you can review it.

Step 7: To change packages later, open the “Packages” tab on the Proposal Details page to add or remove packages, and review adders there as well.

A homeowner wants backup power before storm season. The rep starts a new Generator proposal, enters the address and installer, picks a standby generator package, and adds a transfer switch upgrade on the Adders step. The proposal opens on the Pricing tab, ready to review with the homeowner.

Keep your package list short and clear (Good / Better / Best works well) so reps can choose quickly and homeowners can compare options side by side.

Problem: I don’t see the new Generator flow

Ask your admin to confirm Enable Generator New Proposal Flow is on in Proposal Settings, then refresh the page and start a new proposal.

Problem: No packages appear on the Package step

Make sure generator packages exist in Manage Database > Generator > Packages.

Problem: I can’t unselect a package

A selected package can’t currently be unselected in the wizard. Continue, then add or remove packages from the Packages tab on the Proposal Details page.
