Understanding your Control Room Overview dashboard

A walkthrough of the Control Room Overview page — what each section shows and how to use it to monitor your deliveries at a glance.

When you log in to your Control Room at controlroom.swftbox.com, the first thing you see is the Overview dashboard. This is your command center — a real-time snapshot of everything happening with your deliveries today and beyond.

What is the Overview dashboard?

The Overview page gives you a high-level summary of your delivery operations without needing to dig into individual orders. It's designed to help you quickly answer questions like: How many orders are out for delivery right now? Are there any failed deliveries I need to handle? What's my delivery success rate this week?

Key sections of the dashboard

Today's summary cards

At the top of the Overview, you'll see a row of summary cards showing key numbers for the current day:

  • Total orders — the number of orders created or scheduled for today.

  • In progress — orders currently being picked up or out for delivery.

  • Delivered — orders successfully delivered today.

  • Failed — delivery attempts that were unsuccessful (the customer wasn't available, wrong address, etc.).

  • Returned — packages that have been returned to the origin poin

Delivery performance

Below the summary cards, you'll find your delivery performance metrics. This section shows your success rate, on-time delivery percentage, and average delivery time. Use these numbers to spot trends and identify areas for improvement.

Order status breakdown

A visual chart shows how your orders are distributed across different statuses — created, confirmed, in transit, delivered, failed, and returned. This gives you an at-a-glance view of your pipeline and helps you identify bottlenecks quickly.

Recent activity feed

The activity feed shows the latest updates across all your orders in real time. You'll see when orders are confirmed, picked up, delivered, or flagged — without needing to check each order individually.

Filtering and date ranges

By default, the Overview shows data for today. You can change the date range using the date picker at the top of the page to view historical data — for example, yesterday's performance, this week's totals, or a custom date range.

How to use the Overview effectively

  • Start your day here — check your total orders, see what's already in progress, and identify any carryover issues from yesterday.

  • Monitor throughout the day — keep the Overview open to track deliveries in real time. The numbers update automatically.

  • Spot problems early — if your failed delivery count starts climbing, you can investigate immediately by clicking through to the failed orders list.

  • Review at end of day — use the performance metrics to evaluate how the day went and share results with your team.

Navigating from the Overview

The Overview is your starting point, but it connects to everything else in the Control Room:

  • Use the left sidebar to navigate to Orders, Customers, Inventory, Reports, Message Archive

  • Click on setting on left bottom of your screen to access , Configurations, Integrations, Users, Location & other sections.

Good to know

  • The Overview refreshes automatically — you don't need to reload the page to see updated numbers.

  • If you manage multiple locations or stores, the Overview shows combined data by default. Use filters to view data for a specific store.

  • The dashboard is fully accessible on desktop browsers. For on-the-go monitoring, you can access controlroom.swftbox.com from any mobile browser too.

  • If you're just getting started and don't see any data yet, try creating a test order to see how the dashboard populates.
