Teach ’n Go allows you to customise the columns shown in certain tables. You can display standard fields and any custom student fields you’ve created. Adjusting your table view helps you quickly find and manage the information that matters most.
Where you can customise columns
You can adjust table columns anywhere you see the table icon.
Common locations include:
Students table in the Students tab under People
Student table inside the Class details page
Prospects table in the Prospects tab under People
Select and hide columns
Click the table icon in the top corner of the table.
Select the columns you want to display.
Deselect columns you no longer need.
You can show:
Standard fields (for example, phone or email)
Custom student fields created in School settings
You can also hide original columns if they are not relevant to your current task.
Filter within selected columns
Once your preferred columns are visible:
Click the Search columns button to display filtering options.
Filtering will apply only to the columns currently shown.
Navigate to the relevant column and apply your filter or search.
When used together with Custom student fields, this becomes a powerful way to organise and segment your students.
Use bulk actions after filtering
After filtering or searching:
Select students using the checkboxes on the right-hand side.
Use the Bulk actions tools to perform tasks for multiple students at once.
You can:
Add fees
Add notes
Invite students to the portal
Enrol students in classes or events
Send messages
Update information
This allows you to complete tasks for multiple records in seconds.
Troubleshooting
Column not visible? Make sure it is selected in the table settings.
Custom field missing? Check that the field has been created in School settings.
Search not working as expected? Ensure the column you are searching is currently visible.
