Our cancellation policy requires 48 hours' notice for both companies and workers. Here's a quick rundown of how it works:
When companies cancel:
More than 48 hours before the shift: No consequences. The contract isn't created.
Within 48 hours of the shift: You are entitled to the full pay for the shift. No action is needed on your side; the payment is automatic.
Sent home early: You’re entitled to pay for the hours you worked, with a minimum of 3 hours, unless you and the hiring company agree on something else.
For workers:
More than 48 hours in advance: No consequences.
Within 48 hours of the shift: It will be marked as a no-show, which can make your profile less attractive. You might also receive up to two strikes per late cancellation.
Note that there is no substitution possible on Temper Staff, so ensure you can commit.
Important: A no-show might lead to two strikes on your profile. Accumulating 3 strikes could result in a ban from the platform. Always strive to cancel on time to keep your profile in good standing.
