If you’re unable to process an order because of your recommendation rollover dates, this usually means your current open recommendation has not expired yet.
Florida medical marijuana recommendations are issued by your doctor for up to 7 months, with each recommendation having a start date and an end date.
How Recommendation Rollover Dates Work
Your recommendation is divided into individual ordering periods:
Flower (smoking): Rotates every 35 days
Other medical marijuana products: Rotates every 70 days
The dates displayed on your Flowery account correspond to the end date of your current/open recommendation period.
You may not be able to place an order for a date that falls outside of your current open recommendation period. Once the current period expires, your account will automatically move to the next recommendation period when it becomes active.
Example
For example, if your current open recommendation expires on October 15, you may be unable to place a delivery order scheduled for October 16 or later.
Your next recommendation period may begin on October 16. Once that new period starts, you will be able to place an order using the available allotment for that period.
In short: If you're trying to place an order and receiving an error related to your recommendation dates, you may simply need to wait until your current recommendation period expires and the next period begins.
