Why is a fax I received blurry or unreadable?
There are two common reasons:
Reason | What to do |
The original fax was poor quality when it was sent | Ask the sender to send the fax again. |
Something went wrong while Updox processed the fax into a readable image | Download the original fax, and contact Updox Support. |
How do I download the original fax?
You can download the fax as it was received, before Updox processed it.
In your Inbox, click the > arrow to expand the fax.
Click Download original.
How do I report an unreadable fax to Updox?
Find the fax's ID number in the Inbox item.
Contact Updox Support and give them the ID number.
The Support team will look into why the fax is unreadable. In the meantime, you can download the original fax using the steps above.
