Important: This article is only for practices who use Practice Fusion
Why can’t I see my users in Updox?
If your practice uses Practice Fusion as its EHR, Practice Fusion manages all of your users. Updox gets your user information from Practice Fusion, so you won’t see other users listed under Users in Updox.
How do I add, edit, or remove a user?
Make the change in Practice Fusion, not in Updox:
Log in to Practice Fusion.
Add, edit, or remove the user there.
Updox updates automatically shortly after.
Note: Any changes made in Practice Fusion sync to Updox on their own. You don’t need to do anything in Updox.
What kinds of user changes have to be made in Practice Fusion?
All of them, including:
Adding a new user
Changing a user’s name or details
Changing a user’s permissions or admin rights
Removing or deactivating a user
Can Updox Support make user changes for me?
No. Since Practice Fusion manages your users, changes have to be made in Practice Fusion. If you need help, contact Practice Fusion Support.
