Once you understand what promotions and content are, the next step is creating them in myne so they can appear on your Dynamic Connection Pages.
This guide covers how to create and configure both promotions and content at a basic level. More advanced promotion rules are covered in a separate article.
Creating a Promotion
To create or manage promotions:
Log into myne
Click the Settings (cog) in the left-hand menu
Select Promotions
From here, you’ll see:
The All tab, where you can view and edit existing promotions
A Templates tab, which includes pre-built examples to help inspire promotion ideas
Click + New Promotion to start creating a promotion.
Promotion setup
When creating a promotion, you’ll see two tabs: Display and Rules.
This article focuses on the Display tab, which controls what customers see and who the promotion is shown to.
Fields to configure
Fields to configure
Name
The name of the promotion. This appears on the promotion tile shown to customers.
Description
A short explanation of the offer, also shown on the tile.
Unknown customers
Choose whether to show or make promotions available to unknown customers.
Known customers
Choose which to show or make promotions available to known customers
Message when promotion is locked
Write what customers see when a promotion is locked but they can see it
Channel
Controls how the promotion is redeemed:
Counter – customers are prompted to redeem in person at the counter and a check-in is sent to the POS
App – customers are sent to an action URL of choice. Create custom app URLs as required.
Reservation – available for reservation-based flows
None – displays the promotion without a specific redemption action. Such as a simple call to action
Action URL
Appears when the App, Reservation or None channel is selected. This is where customers are sent when click the 'Call to Action' Button.
Image
An optional image displayed on the promotion tile.
CTA text
The text shown on the call-to-action button (for example, Claim now or Order now).
Require customer details
If enabled, customers must enter their details before continuing.
If disabled, customers can proceed without checking in.
Promotion visibility and locked promotions
Promotions can now be visible even when a customer isn’t eligible to claim them yet.
This allows you to tease offers, guide customer behaviour, and clearly communicate how a promotion can be unlocked — instead of hiding it completely.
When a promotion is visible but not available, it appears as locked on the Dynamic Connection Page.
Visibility vs eligibility
When configuring a promotion, myne separates:
Who can see the promotion
Who can claim the promotion
This applies to both known customers and unknown customers. Click here to learn more about known vs unknown customers.
Note: The Rules section is currently only used by our me&u Loyalty integration. Read about it here.
Creating Content
Content is created separately from promotions and is used for non-discount experiences such as menus, links, or information.
To create or manage content:
Log into myne
Click Settings (cog) → Content
Click + New Content or select an existing item to edit
Content setup fields
Content setup fields

The title shown to customers on the Dynamic Connection Page.
Description
A short supporting description displayed under the title.
Action URL
Where the customer is taken when they tap the content tile.
CTA text
The text shown on the call-to-action button.
Require customer details
Enable this if customers should check in before continuing.
Show to new customers
Toggle on to show this content to customers you don’t yet recognise or who don’t belong to any groups.
Using promotions and content on Connection Pages
Once created, promotions and content can be added to Dynamic Connection Pages.
myne will automatically decide which items to show based on:
The customer viewing the page
Group eligibility
Whether the customer is known or new
The location or channel they entered from
You don’t need to create separate pages for each audience — myne handles this dynamically.
