How do I cancel my order?
To cancel a V1CE physical card order, contact V1CE support as soon as possible with your order number and a short note explaining why. The V1CE team will check the order, escalate it for cancellation, and process a refund. Cancellations are handled case by case. V1CE is more flexible than a strict "cannot cancel after print" rule, especially for genuine mistakes, medical reasons, or other sympathetic situations. Refunds typically land 5 to 10 business days after cancellation.
First, check what kind of order you are cancelling
Before you cancel, check what kind of order you have, because the steps are different for a subscription plan and for a physical card. If your order is a V1CE subscription plan (often sold with a complimentary card), follow the subscription steps further down this article. If your order is a physical card, follow the cancellation steps below.
How to request a cancellation
To request a cancellation:
Contact V1CE through live chat or email at support@v1ce.co
Provide your order number
Briefly explain why you want to cancel (mistake, change of mind, no longer needed, etc.). This helps the team handle it correctly and faster.
The team checks the order status and confirms whether cancellation is possible
If cancelled, V1CE processes the refund and confirms in chat, with a reference for the request
When can a V1CE order be cancelled
When a V1CE order can be cancelled depends on the stage and the circumstances:
Before design approval: Cancellation is straightforward and almost always possible with a full refund.
After design approval, before production: Usually possible. Contact V1CE support as soon as possible.
During production: Often still possible, especially for sympathetic cases (medical reasons, genuine ordering errors, urgent changes). The team escalates these case by case rather than refusing automatically.
After shipping: The order itself cannot be cancelled because it's already on the way, but V1CE can in some cases organise a refund and return-to-sender. Contact support to discuss.
First, check the cancellation is really what you want
Before cancelling, it's worth checking whether the cancellation is really what you need. Two common situations where customers want to cancel but probably shouldn't:
"I didn't realise the card came with software". Every V1CE NFC business card includes V1CE's software and digital page. That is the product. The physical card is the trigger; the digital page is what people see when they tap it. If you thought you were buying just a physical card, you are getting much more.
"My card won't arrive in time for an event". The V1CE digital card is shareable immediately via Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, so you can use it at your event before the physical card arrives. V1CE can also sometimes expedite production or upgrade shipping. Contact support before cancelling.
If after that you still want to cancel, V1CE support will help.
What happens after cancellation
When your order is cancelled, V1CE processes a refund to your original payment method. Refunds typically take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
If you don't see the refund after 10 business days, contact V1CE support with your order number and the team will check on it.
I placed an order by mistake
If you placed an order by mistake (wrong product, wrong quantity, double-clicked checkout), contact V1CE support immediately. The faster you reach out, the easier the cancellation. Mistaken orders are almost always cancellable at any pre-shipping stage.
Can I change the payment card on an existing order instead of cancelling
No. V1CE cannot change the payment card on a confirmed order or transfer the payment from one card to another. If you need to pay on a different card, the only option is to cancel the order and place a new one with the correct card.
My order is a subscription plan, not a physical card
If your order is a V1CE subscription plan rather than a one-off physical card, you cancel it in your dashboard, not through a support cancellation. V1CE subscription plans are often sold with a complimentary card, so the order shows as a subscription.
Open your dashboard and click the Settings icon at the bottom-left.
Click Subscriptions (on legacy software: Settings, then Manage Subscriptions, then Billing).
Cancel the plan. This stops all future renewals.
Start a chat to let V1CE know, and V1CE can refund the shipping fee paid on the complimentary card.
On legacy V1CE Plus, each upgraded link is charged separately, so cancel each one you no longer want. For the full legacy flow, see How do I cancel my subscription?
