How do I cancel my subscription?
On V1CE ClientCapture OS, cancel your subscription from your V1CE dashboard under Settings. You keep access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, then your account reverts to V1CE Free Forever. Your V1CE page stays live and your contacts are not deleted.
How to cancel on V1CE ClientCapture OS
Log in at app.v1ce.co
Click Settings in the sidebar
Open your subscription and billing section
Click Cancel Plan
Confirm the cancellation
If you can't find the option to cancel, your V1CE software may not surface it on your plan. Contact V1CE support and the team will cancel it for you.
Important: cancel before you delete the page or link
Cancel the subscription before you delete the page (or, on legacy software, the link) it is attached to. If you delete first, the subscription becomes orphaned and continues to charge silently.
If this has already happened and you are seeing charges for a page or link you no longer have, contact V1CE support with the original name. V1CE will cancel the orphaned subscription and review the charge.
What happens when I cancel?
You keep paid V1CE features until the end of the current billing period.
After that, your account reverts to V1CE Free Forever.
Your V1CE page stays live, so people can still tap and scan your V1CE card.
Your contacts and data are not deleted.
Paid features like Contact Capture, CRM integrations, and Smart follow-ups are disabled.
Can I resubscribe later?
Yes. You can upgrade your V1CE account again at any time from Settings in your V1CE dashboard.
I cancelled but was still charged
If you cancelled after the renewal date, the charge for the current period still applies. Cancellation stops future charges, not the current billing cycle.
If you cancelled before the renewal date but were still charged, that is most likely an orphaned subscription (see above) or a system-side error. Contact V1CE support with your account email and the invoice number, and V1CE will investigate.
I spoke to someone about cancelling but was charged again
If you believe the cancellation was not processed correctly, contact V1CE support with your account email and the affected page or link name. V1CE will investigate and resolve it.
If you are on legacy V1CE Plus, Pro, or Teams software
If your dashboard has a link switcher at the top, you are on the legacy V1CE software. Legacy V1CE Plus is charged per link, so each upgraded link must be cancelled separately:
Log in at app.v1ce.co
In the link switcher, click the link with the subscription you want to cancel
Click Settings in the left menu
Click Manage Subscriptions
Click Billing
Click Cancel Plan
Confirm the cancellation
If you have more than one upgraded link, repeat for each link.
