How can I personalize my messages with variables in Waalaxy?

Updated over a week ago

Personalization is a key factor in improving your response rates. In Waalaxy, you can personalize your messages by using variables.

Which variables are available?

Waalaxy allows you to use three basic variables to personalize your messages:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Company

💡 Good to know

1️⃣ Adding custom variables: It is not possible to add other custom variables.

2️⃣ Automatic variable cleaning: Waalaxy automatically processes the First name and Last name variables to ensure a professional display in your messages:

  • Removal of emojis and special characters

  • Removal of titles (e.g., Dr., PhD., etc.)

  • Automatic capitalization correction

Example:
If a prospect’s LinkedIn name is 🧙 Dr JOHN DOE,
it will automatically be transformed into: John Doe.

Where can variables be inserted?

Variables can be used in:

  • An invitation note

  • A LinkedIn message

  • An email

How to use the "company" variable?

When you insert the variable {{company}} into a message, it is essential to set a fallback text for cases where the prospect has no company listed on LinkedIn.

➡️ To do this, click on the triangle ⚠️ icon in the orange area next to the variable. You can then define an alternative text that will automatically be used if the information is missing.

How to optimize message personalization?

To increase the effectiveness of your campaigns, prioritize segmenting your prospect lists into homogeneous and targeted groups. This will allow you to write more relevant messages tailored to each audience, even with a limited number of variables.
