Where to find prospects and how to target them?
When you arrive on Waalaxy, the first step is to import your prospects into your application before being able to launch them into a campaign.
LinkedIn is your goldmine! 🤩
The best way to target your prospects before initiating your search on LinkedIn is to use filters to refine it. Remember to filter by "people" because the tool can only import personal profiles.
Connections

On LinkedIn, there are three levels of connections:
1st level: You are directly connected with this person; they are part of your network.
2nd level: You share at least one mutual connection with this person.
3rd level: You have a mutual connection with someone who is connected to this profile.
To expand your network, I recommend filtering by "2nd-degree connections." When you send a connection request, LinkedIn shows how many contacts you have in common with the targeted person. This may encourage them to accept your invitation. 😉

To segment your searches, the "Locations" filter is useful. You can specify a region, a country, or even a specific area. If you use it, consider creating specific campaigns for each selected region.

This filter allows you to search for people based on the company they work for. It helps you find profiles related to a specific company, which is useful for recruiting, establishing partnerships, or expanding your professional network by targeting employees or individuals associated with a particular company.

How to import prospects?
Now that you have found your prospects, you need to import them into your application.
You must create a prospect list where your search will be imported if you haven't done so already. I recommend naming your list with a relevant keyword. This will help you find it easily later.

How many prospects can I import?
It is possible to import the first 1000 results of a standard LinkedIn search and up to 2500 with Sales Navigator, according to the parameters set by LinkedIn. However, there is a method to bypass this limit.

When you start the import from LinkedIn, you can track the loading of your prospects into Waalaxy, in the list you selected beforehand.
The import time varies depending on the number of profiles requested.
⚠️ Good to know: Here are the reasons that may explain a difference between the number of prospects you wanted to import and the number of prospects that have been imported into your application:
Waalaxy found duplicates: if a lead is already present in your Waalaxy interface, it will not be imported again.
Some prospects from your search are outside your network (beyond the 3rd degree). Waalaxy cannot access their profile and import them.
Your search contains more than 1,000 results, for a standard LinkedIn search, or more than 2,500 results, for a LinkedIn Sales Navigator search.
You have already imported this search, so it resumed from where it left off.
You have reached the prospect limit in your Waalaxy account:

How to import prospects using the AI Prospect Finder?
The AI Prospect Finder feature is inspired by Spotify's enrichment feature. Its aim is to assist you in finding prospects more easily and quickly. 🪄
To use this feature, you need to select at least 10 similar profiles from your list that you find relevant.
Here's an example: you are looking for "Customer Success Managers in France."
From your list, select 10 Customer Success Managers located in France,
Click on "AI Prospect Finder" (on the right side of your screen) and select the number of prospects to import,
Then, click on "Launch AI".
In a few minutes, based on the selected profiles, the AI will find and import similar profiles without going through LinkedIn. 🤩
