Give, request and receive feedback from your peers, plus send recognition & suggestions to anyone in the organisation

We're very excited to announce the launch of a brand new feature - Peer to Peer Feedback!

This long awaited feature allows users to:

  • Give anytime feedback (including recognition or suggestions)

  • Request feedback from peers and send reminders

  • Give requested feedback to others

  • Use recent feedback in upcoming 121s and add to the meeting agenda.

Click on the orange buttons in the sections below to view steps on how to use each piece of functionality.

Give anytime feedback

Give anytime feedback to your peers using the 'Give feedback' function.

Choose 3 types of feedback to give:

  • Recognition

  • Suggestions

  • General

The type of feedback chosen will determine the email notification wording sent to employees.

Visibility of anytime feedback

All individuals can view anytime feedback given to them by another user, even if they don't have a login.

If the employee has a login: they can log in to view all personal feedback on the 'Feedback' page.

If the employee does not have a login: the feedback is sent to them directly in a confidentially marked email.

Managers can view their assigned employees' anytime feedback.

Request feedback from your peers about yourself

Ask your peers for feedback about yourself using the 'Request feedback' feature, and send the request to one or more people with a deadline for sharing their comments.

Note: You can only request feedback from individuals who have logins to the system because users must login to view the feedback request and record their response.

Visibility of feedback requested about yourself

If you have requested feedback from others directly about yourself, you will always be able to view this feedback.

Your assigned manager will be able view the feedback given.

Request feedback about your team members (managers only)

Managers can request feedback about any of their assigned team members. If appraisals are coming up soon and you want to gather feedback about particular team members, the 'Request feedback' function can be used to gather feedback from multiple employees about an individual.

Visibility of feedback requested about your team members

Managers are always be able to view feedback about their assigned team members.

Whether the employees themselves are able to view, is dependent on whether it has been made visible to them when setting up the request.

If the box labelled 'Visible to manager and individual' is ticked against 'Visibility' when setting up the request (see above screenshot), then the employee will have access to the feedback about them.

Send reminders when feedback is still 'pending'

All users have the ability to send reminders to feedback providers who have not yet shared their comments. On the 'Feedback' page, users can tick the box next to any feedback requests that are still 'pending' and send reminder(s) to the feedback providers.

Administrators can send reminders to any users whose feedback is still 'pending', as administrators have full visibility.

Include recent feedback in 1:1 meeting agendas

A new section has been added to the 1:1 intelligendas called 'Feedback'.

When a new 1:1 meeting agenda is set up, users can now add pieces of feedback to the agenda for discussion. Celebrate recognition from peers, discuss suggestions shared by others, and/or view general feedback.

Locked feedback

If a piece of feedback has a padlock symbol against it, the feedback cannot be viewed by the individual and is only visible to the manager as part of the 1:1 agenda. The feedback will be hidden from the employee's view of the agenda, including when a PDF version of the agenda is sent to the employee.

The below screenshot shows an example of locked feedback, only visible to the manager of the employee, and not to the individual employee themselves.

View all of your personal feedback

Below is a screenshot of the 'Feedback' table on your Me homepage tab. Here, you can see if you have any new unread feedback.

View all feedback given, and made accessible, to you on the 'Feedback' > 'My feedback' page. Here you can view a list of all feedback that your peers have given about you.

View your team's feedback (manager's only)

Managers can login and view a summary of the feedback their team has received in the last month, and the last year. This can be accessed on the My Team homepage in the section labelled 'Feedback' as shown below.

Managers can view a breakdown of their assigned team members' feedback on the 'Feedback' > 'Team feedback' page as shown below.

Here, you can expand each piece of feedback using the pink arrow and view the following the following details:

  • Who the feedback is regarding

  • The feedback provider

  • Type of feedback

  • Date feedback was given

  • Due date for feedback (if applicable)

Administrator/Executive overview of feedback

Administrator and Executive users have full visibility of feedback given and requested by all other users.

These user types can view a summary of how many pieces of feedback have been sent in the last 6 months for each of the feedback types - Recognition, Suggestions, General.

This summary is accessible on the Exec Dashboard homepage tab...
