Channel Status is the item-level view of how one product is doing on each sales channel it's connected to — whether it's live, what quantity and price actually reached the channel, and whether anything's blocking it. Use it when you need the full picture on one item on one channel, rather than scanning your whole catalog.
How to Open Channel Status
Click CATALOG > Items in the sidebar.
Find the item you want to check — search by name or SKU, or use the filters.
Click the eye icon on that item's row to open its details.
Select the Channel Status tab.
Most accounts see one combined Channel Status view, described below. A few older accounts still use the previous layout — separate Channel Mapping, Channel Status and Suggested Fixes tabs — which cover the same information split across three places instead of one.
Tip: For a quick walkthrough, watch the "Items: Channel Status" video in How to watch Acenda video tutorials.
What You See for Each Channel
Channel Status opens to a vertical list of every sales channel the item is connected to, on the left, with that channel's details on the right. Each entry is labeled with whatever you've named that channel in Acenda — so look for, for example, the Target+ tab (or whatever you've named your Target+ channel).
Each channel in the list shows:
An Unmapped label, if the item hasn't been mapped for that channel yet
A status chip showing where the listing currently stands — common values include Approved/Active, Pending, Rejected/Error, and Unlisted (exact wording can vary a little by channel)
A Listing Action chip — see How to map products to channels and set listing actions
The current selling price being sent to that channel
Click a channel's tab to open its details on the right:
Template: the posting template assigned for this item on this channel. To change which template a channel uses, go to CHANNELS > Integrations, open the channel, click Edit, then Posting Templates.
Listing Action: shown with an Add Mapping button if nothing's mapped yet, or Edit if it's already mapped.
Inventory: the quantity currently sent to the channel. Click to expand the per-warehouse breakdown. This is your on-hand quantity after any Inventory Floor, counted only from warehouses mapped to that channel — see How to set an inventory floor for a marketplace.
View: opens the live listing on the marketplace in a new tab. If a channel doesn't show a View link, that marketplace doesn't give Acenda a direct link to the listing through its API. With Target+ selected, the item's TCIN appears under View on Channel as a link to its target.com page. To pull TCINs, ASINs and other marketplace IDs for a whole channel at once, see How to export marketplace IDs (like TCINs or ASINs).
Below that, you'll see every attribute value mapped for the channel. Hover a value to see Mapped from, which tells you which Acenda field feeds it. If Acenda IQ has a suggested fix for an attribute, you'll see the suggested value inline with accept/reject icons next to the current one — see How to get started with Acenda IQ AI suggested fixes.
What You Can Do from Here
Map a channel, or change its Posting Template/Listing Action: click Add Mapping or Edit.
Override a single value for only this channel: click the pencil icon next to that attribute, choose Manual Override, then Apply Override. These also show up on CATALOG > Attribute Overrides.
Accept or reject an Acenda IQ suggestion right where it appears.
Click View to see the item exactly as it appears on the marketplace.
Check the Channel Events tab, right next to Channel Status, to see what Acenda actually sent to the channel — see How to track marketplace updates with Channel Events.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Why isn't a channel I expected on the list? the item hasn't been mapped to that channel yet, or the integration itself isn't connected. Check CHANNELS > Integrations first, then come back and map the item.
What if the status shows Rejected/Error or Unlisted? something's blocking the listing. Start with How to fix marketplace listing errors; the account-wide list of everything flagged is under CHANNELS > Item Issues.
Why doesn't the quantity here match what I see elsewhere in Acenda? Channel Status shows what actually reached the channel — on-hand quantity minus any Inventory Floor, counted only from warehouses mapped to that channel. See How to set an inventory floor for a marketplace.
Where do my accepted AI suggestions go? Once accepted, they become an override for that channel and show up alongside manual overrides on CATALOG > Attribute Overrides.
Why do I still see Channel Mapping, Channel Status and Suggested Fixes as three separate tabs? that's the previous layout. It covers the same information as the combined view above, but split across three tabs instead of one.
