Series is where you build and manage groups of classes sold together as one — formerly called 'Grouped Sessions'. It's for studios who want to offer multi-class courses that can span over several weeks, months or a year.

If you used Grouped Sessions before
Series is the new name for what was previously called Grouped Sessions, and a few things about it work differently now:
New location. Series has its own tab on the Calendar (Calendar > Series), rather than being found under Workshops.
No series-level recurrence. The old flow let you set up a recurring series made up of recurring classes. That's no longer possible — each setup creates one series at a time. Use Duplicate if you want to create a similar series again.
No preview-and-confirm step. Classes are created as soon as you finish Step 3 of setup — there's no separate review step before they're saved.
Classes can't be added or removed after creation. Once a series exists, you can edit an individual class, but not add a new one or delete one from it.
The Series tab
Series now has its own tab on the Calendar, next to Classes. Each row is a series: a group of classes sold and booked together as one.
Filter, search, and open a series the same way you would on the Classes tab. Select a row to open the quick panel, or open the series for its full detail page.
Creating a series
Select Add series to start the 3-step setup:
Choose service — pick the class template the series is built on.
Set up series — name it, and set the booking rule, visibility, and level. Tags sit under Advanced.
Add classes — add each class, one-off or recurring. A live count ("N classes will be added") and an editable list show exactly what you're creating before you save.
Sensible defaults are already filled in (All level, Listed, 1 credit, 1 hour, 10 spots), so most fields need no changes.
💡 If a recurring class's date doesn't fall on one of the selected weekdays, the setup tells you the real first class date instead of moving it quietly.

Booking rules
Each series uses one of three booking rules, chosen in Step 2. This also sets the series' Type, shown on the Series list:
Full series — all classes are booked at once. No one can join once the series has started.
Open series — clients can join after the series starts; booking books all remaining classes.
Single class — each class is booked independently.
The series detail page and quick panel
Open a series for its full detail page, or use the quick panel for a fast look without leaving the list. Both show previous/next navigation, and let you duplicate or cancel the series from anywhere.
Managing classes in a series
Open a class from the Classes tab to manage its participants, waitlist, and attendance — the same as any other class.
⚠️ You can't add or remove classes from a series once it's created.
Duplicating a series
Duplicate recaps the recurring rule and always shows the series' level, so you can check it before confirming.
Cancelling a series
Cancel opens a single-step modal showing the class and enrolled-client counts, an irreversible warning, a refund alert, and a toggle to notify all affected clients.
⚠️ There's no sibling or linked-group cancellation anymore — each series is cancelled on its own.
What hasn't changed yet
You can edit or delete classes one at a time — there's no bulk editing across a series yet.
The service a series is built on can't be changed after creation.
Series are still built only on workshop-type services.
The repeat pattern shown for a series is worked out from the classes you've added, rather than stored as a rule in its own right. For regular weekly rhythms this is accurate, but for monthly, yearly, or irregular patterns, it's worth double-checking the generated class dates before saving to make sure they match what you intended.
Common questions
Why doesn't my first class fall on the date I picked?
For a weekly series, the start moves to your first selected weekday. The "classes will be added" note tells you the real first class date — adjust the date or the selected days if you want it earlier.
Can I create a recurring series like before?
No — each setup creates one series at a time. Duplicate the series if you want to repeat it.
Can I change the teacher or venue for one class in the series?
Yes. Open the series, go to the Classes tab, and edit that class. Changing several classes at once isn't available yet.
Can I change the service after I create the series?
No — the service is locked once the series exists. Create a new series if you need a different one.
