An explanation of words you'll see in your Pro account

  • Administrators - people with full access to the website and app.

  • Auto-bypassed TimeTile - the system detected the employee's phone was not NFC capable and does not ask them to do the scan. You may want to disable that person’s requirement to scan.

  • Budget - the plan to reach your profit goal on a job. Factors include contract start and end dates, revenue from the client, average base payrate, total hours, labor overhead % multiplier, and revenue overhead% multiplier.

  • Bypassed TimeTile - your employee didn't scan the TimeTile. They are prompted to give a reason.

  • Bypassed Voice Verification - the employee didn't state the numbers when prompted on clock in or out to verify their voice.

  • Customers - the companies you serve and invoice.

  • Documentation to Review - a yellow tile notification on the People screen that an employee is missing required documentation: driver's license, certifications, permits, etc.

  • Employees - your people clocking in to do the work.

  • Gross Profit – the calculated amount of money you expect to make after expenses. 100% - (Labor% + Revenue Overhead%)

  • Jobs - the work you contracted with your customer to do at their location. Jobs can be ongoing, project, or work orders.

  • Labor % - Expected % of revenue paid for labor

  • Labor Overhead % - multiplier on payrates for other expected costs directly associated with labor (ex. taxes, workers comp, benefits).

  • Late Arrival - your employee clocked in before arriving at the job site.

  • Late for Schedule - your employee clocked in late to their schedule.

  • Left Job - the location services on your employee's phone detected that they left the job site while clocked in. This event can trigger a notification to Team managers.

  • Loaded Payrate – a person’s hourly rate inclusive of labor overhead costs. Payrate + (payrate * Labor Overhead%)

  • Located Not at Job - the location services on your employee's phone detected your employee wasn't at the job site when they clocked in or out.

  • Locations - the physical locations of your customers where the jobs are done. A customer may have more than one location. Specify the address for GPS location tracks.

  • Member - a non-management person on a Team.

  • Missed Schedule - your employee didn't show to a scheduled job.

  • Observer – management who are not actively managing the Team but have access to view the activity of the Team.

  • Pay Profile- default paytype assignments (ex. hourly and contractor.)

  • People - your administrators, supervisors, and employees.

  • Positions - the titles that your people hold. Each Position is assigned a system Role. Examples: HR Admin (administrator role), Field Manager (supervisor role), and Worker (employee role).

  • Role – 3 types of users of the system: Administrators have access to the admin site, Supervisors see their teams on the app, Employees clock in on the app.

  • Revenue - the total amount of money your customer will you pay for the job. Job contracted amount.

  • Revenue Overhead % - expected multiplier on other costs besides labor (ex. franchise fees, supplies).

  • Skills - designations you create to specify what abilities a person has. Positions can be set up with a list of skills that you can make required. So when a person is set up as that position, you are prompted to verify they have the skills. Jobs will have the ability to specify which positions are needed.

  • Supervisors - people who manage from the supervisor app.

  • Teams – your organizational structure for people and jobs. People can be on multiple teams. Use teams for communication and management separation.

  • TimeTiles™ - a 2x2 PVC tile with tamperproof technology, attached to a wall at the job site, that your employee scans to clock in and out. Know employees are on-site.

  • Unknown Job - an option for an employee to clock into a job in which they aren't on the Team. The system asks them to explain the job further so that admins can later correct the timecard with the correct job.

  • Unscheduled Clock In - your employee wasn't scheduled for a job, but 1) was on the Team for that job, 2) was GPS located at the job site, or 3) scanned a TimeTile.
