Whether you are a new school who has just started on ClassCover and you have just added in your regular teachers, or if you have new teachers to add who haven't used ClassCover before - getting communication out to them will help to assist in a smooth onboarding into your new booking system.

When you are adding your relief teachers to your school list, all teachers will be notified by ClassCover via email. If they have a profile already, they will be automatically added, and notified. If they aren't on ClassCover yet, they will receive an invite to join from ClassCover and steps to set up a profile.

It's recommended that alongside the information they will receive from ClassCover, that they also receive a note from you.

It’s a good idea to help them to understand what you will expect from them going forward to ensure all parties are working the app in a way that benefits everyone.

We have made it easy and have created a generic letter that you can email out from your school, walking through important points such as:

  • Completing teacher profiles with up to date information

  • Downloading the app

  • Updating availability

  • Setting up push notifications

  • And how to contact ClassCover support if the need arises
