INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: System users can create a bypass rule that temporarily bypasses booking restrictions if a condition (X hours before a court time) is met.
Use Cases: Use this rule to help maximize facility utilization by temporarily bypassing membership-type restrictions and allowing last-minute bookings for unreserved courts or equipment. It is possible to create different bypass rules for different membership types.
PREREQUISITES
This tool has a direct impact on a member/player's ability to access facilities. System users should have a clear understanding of club policies.
These restrictions are one part of the Restriction rules, which in turn is part of a membership type.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
The first step is to open a membership type.
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Go to the side menu and click MEMBERSHIPS. A new page displays.
Click the Individual or Family tab.
Select a membership type and click the Reservation Rules tab.
Go to the Restrictions heading and click the Bypass Reservations tab.
Creating a rule
Go to the Bypass Restrictions if Time is X Hours Out heading and enter a time (hours and minutes). This rule creates a bypass booking window X hours before an unreserved slot on the scheduler opens. Any member/player with this membership type can book the court/equipment if even other conditions/rules might prevent that booking.
Common settings
The values entered in the below fields apply to all the tabs in the Restrictions table.
