INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Add rules to manage member/player access to facilities by time.
Use Cases: System users can create different limits for different membership types. For example, a Guest membership type might be allowed to book 120 minutes per week, and players with a Full Membership type can book 240 minutes per week.
PREREQUISITES
This tool has a direct impact on a member/player's ability to access facilities. System users should have a clear understanding of club policies.
These restrictions are one part of the Restriction rules, which in turn is part of a membership type.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
The first step is to open the relevant membership type.
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Go to the side menu and click MEMBERSHIPS. A new page displays.
Click the Individual or Family tab.
Select a membership type and click the Reservation Rules tab.
Go to the Restrictions heading and click the By Time tab.
Limiting time on facilities
In the first set of fields, system users can limit the amount of facility time a person with this membership type can book.
Scan the fields and enter a number (minutes per day or week).
Common settings
The values entered in the below fields apply to all the tabs in the Restrictions table.
Hours before a Reservation can be Canceled Without Penalty - This value sets the start of the cancellation with a penalty period. Any cancellation recorded before the start of this period does not produce a penalty. Players accumulate penalties every time they cancel a booking after the allowed time.
Remove Ability to book after X Penalty Cancellations - After receiving X number of penalties, the member/player cannot reserve facility time.

Prevent Member from Cancelling a Reservation within X Hours - This value creates a period when cancellations are not permitted. When this period starts, CourtReserve hides the Cancel Reservation button on the member portal.
Require Reason On Reservation Cancellation - If this optional box is checked, members/players must submit a reason for the cancellation.
Message to show Member if outside cancellation window - Enter a message to show member/players if they attempt to cancel a reservation that is inside the no-cancellation window. (see above)
Reservation types
Allowed Reservation Types - Click the field and select which types of facilities or equipment this membership type can book. Optionally, leave the field blank to allow all types.
Default Reservation Type - Click the field and select a default facility or equipment type for this membership type. Optionally, leave the field blank to set no default.
