📑 Getting started - step by step

Create your Cuez account, Organization, and Project

Your Cuez account

To get access to Cuez, you will receive an invitation email from a colleague or from the Cuez team. Follow the steps in the email to set up your Cuez account and access the Organization and Project(s) you have been invited to.

If you have not received an invitation yet, contact an owner or admin in your Organization or reach out to the Cuez team for assistance.

To manage your account once it has been created, check out these articles for more information.

Your Cuez Organization

Once you have been invited, you will be able to access the Organization and project(s) linked to your account.

If you have not received an invitation yet, contact an owner or admin in your Organization or reach out to the Cuez team for assistance.

To manage your Organization once it has been created, check out these articles for more information.

Your Cuez Project(s)

Next in the process is to create your (first) Project. The Project is where you will start building your Episodes (a.k.a. Scripts, Rundowns, or Running Orders).

Before creating a Project in your Organization, check with your team lead or colleagues whether they have already created one or not.

If a Project was already created, ask an 'admin' to invite you to the Project(s).

If not, continue the steps on the screen to create one.

To manage your Project once it has been created, check out these articles for more information.

Create your first Episode(s)

Once you have created or activated your account and are ready to build your first content, you can create your first Episode(s).

Our collection of Episode Basics articles will help you get started. Or take it a step further with our advanced features.

Automate your show with the Cuez Automator

With your show or event now created as an Episode in Cuez, the next step could be to automate the show by linking the Cuez Episode to our Automator. The Cuez Automator allows you to control hardware and software in the studio so you can control devices such as vMix, TriCaster, EVS, Viz Flowics, SingularLive, cameras, lights, audio, and more.

Lexicon

As you discover Cuez and all of its features, our Lexicon might come in handy to see the meaning of certain terminology you come across. Each word (or feature) will have a link to a dedicated article that goes more in-depth for that feature.
