Using logos in your ads

Learn how to add, remove, and manage logos within individual ads using the editor.

Who is this for?

This article is for users who create or edit ad designs in the editor.

How logos behave in ad designs

When a logo is added to an ad:

  • It appears as an image element on the ad.

  • It can be moved, resized, rotated, enabled, or disabled.

  • Changes apply only to the current ad.

Logos across ratios

Each ad is produced in three ratios: 9:16, 4:5, and 1:1, and each ratio has its own layout.

The logo is a single element in the ad. Replacing the logo image, or showing or hiding the logo, applies across the whole ad, so the same logo image and the same visibility setting apply in every ratio. You cannot show a different logo image, or hide the logo in only one ratio while leaving it visible in the others.

The logo's position and size can be set independently for each ratio, because each ratio has its own layout. If the logo does not fit a ratio's layout, for example it is cropped or sits outside the frame, switch to that ratio and reposition or resize the logo there. That change applies only to the ratio you are viewing, not to the other ratios.

Some ad designs also include a separate logo add-on, distinct from the main logo. A logo add-on follows the same rule as the main logo: showing, hiding, or replacing it applies to every ratio, while its position and size can be set independently for each ratio.

How to add, remove, or edit logos in your ads

To add, remove, or edit a logo in an ad, you must use the ad editor.

  1. Hover over the ad and click edit ad.

  2. Click the logo on the ad, or enable/disable the logo using the logo toggle on the left-hand side of the editor.

  3. Select a logo to apply it to the design.

Once applied, the logo can be moved, resized, rotated, enabled, or disabled.

** Please note - Some ad designs do not include a logo option. In these designs, the logo toggle does not appear in the editor, and a logo cannot be added. It will show as below.

Animating a logo

To add an animation to a logo:

  1. Open the ad in the editor.

  2. If the logo is not already visible on the ad, drag it from the logo panel on the left sidebar onto the ad.

  3. Click the logo to select it (a blue outline will appear).

  4. Choose an animation style (such as fade or slide) from the floating toolbar or the left sidebar.

If no animation options appear in the floating toolbar, check that the logo is selected. Not all ad designs support logo animations — if the logo toggle does not appear in the editor, that design does not support logos or logo animations.

Does changing a logo affect other ads?

No. Each ad must be updated individually.

Important takeaways

  • Logos must be uploaded and managed in the Brand Kit.

  • Not all ad designs support the use of a logo.

What happens next?

If a logo is enabled, disabled or edited, it will appear in the exported or published version of the ad design.
