Your Brand Strategy guides how Cuttable writes, positions, and targets your ads. You can review and edit each section to ensure it reflects your brand's voice and direction. Follow the steps below, or watch this walkthrough for a quick demo.
How to access Brand Strategy
Open the Cuttable platform.
Click Brand Strategy under Brand in the left-hand navigation.
Refresh your Brand Strategy
If your website, brand documents, or company information have changed since your Brand Strategy was created, you have two ways to update it.
Email support@cuttable.com and the Cuttable team will refresh your Brand Strategy for you. This is the best option if your website content or copy has changed and you want your Brand Strategy updated to match.
If you have new brand documents, such as updated guidelines or brand decks, you can upload these directly into your Brand Strategy yourself.
Cuttable does not automatically re-scrape your website after onboarding is complete, so changes to your live site are not reflected in your Brand Strategy until you request an update or upload new documents.
Edit communication guidelines (Comms)
Use the Comms tab to manage how your brand sounds in ads. In this section, you can:
Define or update your tone of voice.
Add words and phrases to use.
Add words and phrases to avoid.
Provide examples of good and bad copy.
Adding clear examples helps Cuttable generate copy that matches your brand more accurately. Include both styles you want to replicate and styles you want to avoid.
Refine positioning (Category)
Use the Category tab to define how Cuttable understands your market. In this section:
Review and update your category name.
Update, add, or delete your key category needs.
This information helps Cuttable position your brand correctly against competitors.
Define your audience (Consumer)
Use the Consumer tab to describe your target audience. Update details about your target audience, such as:
Customer needs.
Customer behaviors.
Customer motivators.
This helps Cuttable generate ads that resonate with the right audience.
✅ Tip: The more detailed your Comms, Category, and Consumer sections are, the more accurate and effective your generated ad copy will be.
