Meaning

Evaluation

A simulated account where you prove your strategy by reaching the profit target within the rules.

Pro Account

The simulated funded account you activate after passing an evaluation. It earns payouts.

S2F

Straight to Funded: a simulated funded account with no evaluation (Instant at checkout).

S2L

Straight to Live: a simulated evaluation with a set path to a live account (Live at checkout).

Live account

An account that trades in live markets, from S2L or by invitation from the firm.

Profit target

The profit you need to pass an evaluation, net of commissions.

Max drawdown / drawdown level

The most your account can lose. The drawdown level is the balance you must stay above; touching it fails the account.

Intraday trailing / EOD trailing / Static

How the drawdown level moves: with your peak balance in real time, only at the end of each trading day, or never.

Daily Loss Limit (DLL)

The most you can lose in one trading day, measured from that day's starting balance. Hitting it pauses the account.

Trading day

6:00 PM to 4:59 PM ET the next day.

Minimum daily profit

The smallest daily profit that counts toward Qualifying Days and the activity requirement.

Qualifying Day (QDay)

A trading day that meets the minimum daily profit, follows the rules and ends within consistency.

Consistency

Your best day's profit as a percentage of your total profit. Each plan sets a maximum.

Failed / Paused / Inactive

Failed: the drawdown was touched and the account is closed. Paused: the DLL was hit; trading resumes at 6:00 PM ET. Inactive: the activity requirement was missed and the account is closed.

Dashboard

Your member area on daytraders.com for accounts, billing, activation and payouts.

Payout Method

Where payouts go: your bank through Plane, or your DT Wallet.

DT Wallet

DayTraders credit from a payout, usable for one-time purchases. It can't be withdrawn as cash.

Rithmic / rTrader Pro

Rithmic provides your accounts' market data and order routing; rTrader Pro is its trading platform.

Mini / micro

Contract sizes. 10 micros count as 1 mini toward your max contracts.

Slippage

The difference between the price you expected and the price your order filled at.
