Will I be charged for topping up another app/account with my Deblock card?

Yes, a small fee applies when you use your Deblock card to top up an external app or wallet - like Revolut, Wise, N26, etc. This is called an Account Funding Transaction (AFT).

You get a free allowance first though, and it depends on your plan:

Standard plan

  • Free: one transaction per billing cycle (30 days), up to €500. After that, €1 + 2% of the transaction amount.

  • Example: It's one transaction, not a pooled monthly amount. If you do two top-ups in the same month, only the first is free (up to €500) - the second is charged in full, even if it's small. E.g. two top-ups of €10 each → the 1st is free, the 2nd is charged in full. If your free top-up is over €500, only the amount above €500 is charged: a €600 top-up is charged on €100 → €1 + 2% = €3

Premium/Native plan

  • Free: two transactions per billing cycle (30 days), each up to €1,000. After that, €1 + 1% of the transaction amount.

  • Example: The €1,000 is shared across both free transactions. Two top-ups of €400 and €300 → both free (2 transactions, €700 total). If a top-up goes past what's left of the allowance, only the excess is charged: €700 then €400 → the 1st is free, and the 2nd is charged on €100 → €1 + 1% = €2. Once both free transactions are used, the next one is charged in full regardless of the amount.

💡 Regular card purchases (like paying in a shop or online) are not affected — it only applies when you're loading money into another app or wallet with your Deblock card.

When does the AFT free allowance reset?

The AFT free allowance resets each billing month.

Where can I see the AFT fee?

If an AFT fee applies, it will be shown clearly as part of the card transaction and reflected in your account statement.

When did the AFT fee start?

AFT fees have been applied to card top-ups since 23 July 2026. Top-ups made before that date weren't charged.
