Q What is the Company index?
The Company Index view is used by companies to monitor all the companies (if a group) on one page. From here, users authorized to see a particular company can click through to that company’s Company Dashboard.
Q What can I see on the Company Index?
On the Company Index, you can see a list of your companies you have added onto the platform, with a link to each company's more detailed dashboard, their Diligentsia certification status and completeness and risk summaries, and more.
Q What is the purpose of the Company Index?
The purpose of the Company Index is to assist companies to standardize the presentation of, access to, and auditing of, your corporate data, to assist you to add value to your business.
Q Can I organize my companies into a group?
Yes - you can do this easily through the Company index > Create Group function.
Q Can I change the format of my Company Index?
Currently, you cannot change the format of your Company Index.
Troubleshooting
Q: How do I add a new company to the Company Index?
A: Click on the “Add Company” button on the Company Index page, provide the required details, and save. Check out our article on "Add a Company" here
Q: What should I do if a company I added is not appearing in the Company Index?
A: Refresh your browser or log out and back in. If the issue persists, verify that the addition process was completed correctly.
Q: How do I organize companies into a group?
A: Use the “Create Group” function in the Company Index to group related companies for easier management.
Q: Can I assign specific users to manage a company in the Company Index?
A: Yes, permissions can be set in the User Management settings to allow specific users to access and manage individual companies.
Q: Why can’t I access a specific company’s dashboard from the Company Index?
A: Ensure you have been granted access to that company. If access is restricted, contact the admin for permission.
Q: What should I do if the Company Index takes too long to load?
A: Ensure a stable internet connection, clear your browser cache, and refresh the page. If the issue persists, contact support.
Q: Can I filter companies in the Company Index by risk or completeness scores?
A: Currently, no.
Q: Why can’t I change the format of the Company Index?
A: The Company Index format is fixed to maintain standardization across the platform. Suggestions for customization can be submitted to support for future updates.
Q: Can I view historical data for companies in the Company Index?
A: Yes, historical data and audit logs can be accessed from the respective Company Dashboard.
Q: What happens if I delete a group in the Company Index?
A: Deleting a group does not remove the companies in it; they remain in the Company Index but are no longer grouped.
Q: Why are some companies greyed out in the Company Index?
A: Greyed-out companies indicate restricted access. Contact your admin or owner to request the necessary permissions.
Q: Can I customize the columns displayed in the Company Index?
A: No, the columns are fixed to provide a standardized view of key metrics and summaries.
