If you are reading this, you are likely the Account Administrator (subscription owner) or a general Admin. Before we get to training your team, you'll want to be sure to have done the following:

This ensures that your team has access, and that your account is equipped with all of the information your team is familiar with on a daily basis including, but not limited to:

  • Company information

  • Cost centres

  • Active projects

  • Timesheets

Once that has been done and you're ready for your team to begin using the software, you'll want to consider their User Role to make their training as simple as possible since each user role has different access in PX360:

  • Onsite - No Admin - should be mobile first since their primary use will be submitting timesheets, site photos, and tasks

  • Admin Lite - since they are contract administrators, will want to focus only on their areas in the app

  • Admin - should use the web browser to get the most out of the features and financial reporting

You can point your users to the guide below so they can get to work quickly!

Included in this guide:

Onsite - No Admin

The primary uses for people with this role within PX360 are submitting timesheets, site photos, and completing tasks. We recommend using the mobile app which makes on-the-job-site management extremely simple.

PX360 Mobile App Access

Download the Mobile App onto your phone and log in using the email you received to set your password. Inquire with your administrator if you did not receive an email.

Mobile App Usage

Use the app to Submit Timesheets, Add Site Photos, and Add/Complete Tasks for any project you're on.

Contract Administrator (Admin Lite)

The primary uses of Admin Lite users relate to contract administration. For this user role, we recommend using the application with an internet browser.

Admin Lite has all the permissions of an Employee, plus:

  • Contract Administration

  • Gantt Charting

Projects

Once logged in, you will see your Dashboard. You can also access all projects you're working on by clicking Projects in the left side menu. Any active project you are working on should be visible in either of these two areas.

Clicking into any project will bring you to the Overview Site Diary, where you will also see a Planning tab to access the Gantt Chart for that project.

Resourcing

Click Resourcing in the left side menu to Submit and Approve Timesheets, Export Payroll to Xero, and set up Automatic Payroll Exports to Xero.

Note: Keep in mind you have specific app access and may not see all the areas described in an article. That's ok! If you feel you require additional access, inquire with your administrator and they may change your user role.

Administrators

Administrators have full access to their PX360 accounts. For this user role, we recommend using the application with an internet/web browser.

The Administrator role has all the permissions of Admin Lite, plus:

  • Project Creation/Editing/Archival/Deletion
