Examply's Enterprise plan adds workspace-level security controls on top of the account security every plan includes. This article covers what's built in, what's Enterprise-only, and where your workspace data is stored.
These controls matter most for workspaces handling client-sensitive work — agencies and consultancies using Guest access, or teams with contractual requirements on where data lives.

Every plan's data is encrypted at rest as well as in transit. What Enterprise adds is visibility and control: who can sign in, where data lives, and a record of who changed what.
Data residency
By default, Examply stores workspace data in the US. Enterprise workspaces can choose the EU or UK instead, which keeps task, project, and file data — including attachments and time tracking history — within that region.
Open workspace settings and go to Security.
Under Data residency, choose EU, UK, or US.
Contact support@examply.com to confirm the migration — moving an existing workspace's region is handled by the Examply team, not self-serve.
New workspaces can pick a region during setup with no migration required.
Audit logs
Enterprise workspaces can view a log of sensitive actions: role changes, SAML configuration changes, billing changes, and data exports. Each entry records who made the change, what changed, and when. Open workspace settings and go to Security, then Audit log, to view or export it.
Audit logs are read-only and retained for as long as your workspace is on the Enterprise plan. Export a copy periodically if your compliance process requires you to keep records outside Examply.
Tips
Turning on data residency for a new workspace has no effect on where existing data is stored — it applies going forward and during a supported migration.
Ask teammates with access to sensitive projects to enable two-factor authentication, even though it isn't required by default.
