Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time during their externship. Below is an overview of how the process works and what to expect once cancellation is initiated.
Subscription Pay Periods
All Extern subscriptions operate on 30-day pay periods, with the exception of the free 7-day trial when they sign up. When a subscriber cancels, they retain full access to the student portal until the end of the current pay period. After that period concludes, the subscription will automatically end, and access to the portal will be removed.
Refund Policy
Extern does not issue refunds once a payment has been processed. This policy applies regardless of when during the pay period a subscriber cancels.
How to Cancel
Log in to your Student Portal at app.extern.com.
Click the hamburger menu (β°) in the upper right corner.
Select Account.
Within your account settings, navigate to Subscription.
From there, you can cancel your active subscription.
