How much do you pay for shifts?

How shift rates are set, and where to see the rate before you book.

Written by Thomas Wolfe

There isn't one fixed rate. Each care home or healthcare service sets the rate for its own shifts, so pay varies from shift to shift.

Rates are in line with what registered nurses (RNs), registered practical nurses (RPNs) and personal support workers (PSWs) typically earn for temporary work in Ontario.

You will always see the rate before you book. It's shown on the shift in the app, so you can decide whether it works for you. You're never obliged to take a shift.
