Validating your imported recipes

How to validate recipes created by the recipe importer

Updated yesterday

Note: the recipe importer is currently in its Beta stage, we appreciate your patience as we finalize this new feature. Please reach out to support if you notice anything not work correctly.

Note: AI is a wonderful tool and its uses are helping us create and utilize new ways to improve our customers meez experience. But AI can make mistakes. Please always confirm your recipes accuracy after the import has completed.

After importing your recipes, it is crucial you validate them one by one before letting your team use them. All recipes created by the new importer will have the following two tags: Created-By-meez-Ai and Needs-Review. We recommend using the Needs-Review tag to help you validate your imported recipes. To do so, follow the below steps:

On the home page, locate the Needs-Review tag in the filter bar.

Click to filter by Needs-Review. That will filter your recipes to all of the imported recipes that have not yet been reviewed and approved.

Click on one of the recipes and validate that it was properly imported. If you are importing recipes to meez for the first time - you might see many ingredient errors (as shown in the picture below). That is because those ingredients are not yet created in your account. Make sure you create them.

Note: you only need to create each new ingredient one time. Once the ingredient error is fixed in one recipe, all other recipes that include that ingredient will inherit the fix as well.

Once you have reviewed the recipe and confirmed it is ready to go, remove the Needs-Review tag from the recipe. Recipe tags display on the bottom right side of the recipe within the Additional Details section.

Repeat the above steps for all other recipes that are tagged as Needs-Review. If you have any additional questions about the recipe uploader contact support through the chat in app or at support@getmeez.com.
